Maybe the full story doesn't seem connected to LOST, but the points from the wiki seem similar. If I was a producer/writer looking for easter eggs to throw in, I would probably only read the cliff notes from a wiki and not the actual whole book.

Here's a screencap of it when he's on the plane - i don't see any reference to 9/22 or 10/22... the only date i can make out is sayid's birthday (4/25/1972).

thanks. that's a very good screen cap -- and very mystifying. the date is in the bottom right corner. it has the format often used overseas -- day first, then month, then year.

it looks like sayyid has `0' down for day of month. the month, i can't make out, but could be `oct.' and the year could either be 04 or 07.

When Jack and Locke are in the airport together dealing with their missing luggage, Jack says "Nothing is irreversible" which is interesting since the entire timeline we are seeing is a result of everything that originally happened being reversed or reset.

At the temple, when Miles told them what happened to Sawyer, he said that James took four of them out, before they hit him with a damn rock. That was something like Eko during 48days when the Others took the kids.

The temple scene with James and Kate scene where he woke and asked her where they were, reminded me of S2, when he woke in the hatch.

It also amused me that the Security man was talking slower in English, even if Jin still couldn't understand. Reminded me of Ana Lucia to Jin when they were catching fish in S2.

i find it strange that the format of the date on this form is Day/month/year, and it hase been filled in 04/25/72. since when have we ever had 25 months ? could this be a mistake ? or something more ?

Also, the box below date of birth is for "no. of family members traveling with you" has this got a No. 1 in it ?
